BARRISTER IN CLYDACH MURDER TRIAL ‘SERIOUSLY ILL’

The prosecutor in the trial of David Morris is currently being treated at the University Hospital of Wales after being involved in a crash on the M4 near Newport last week.

Patrick Harrington QC has been involved in many of the highest profile cases in Wales over the past two decades.

At the time Gwent Police said that a 70-year-old man had been taken to hospital with a head injury. It is understood that Mr Harrington is in a critical condition but is stable.

Following the crash, the police appealed for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.

We are specifically interested in persons who may have dash cam footage, who were travelling along the M4 between junction 24 and 25 at this time.

Mr Harrington is heavily criticised in the book by John Morris ‘The Clydach Murders: A Miscarriage of Justice’.
