BREWSTER SIGNS & COULD FACE CARDIFF SUNDAY!

Rhian Brewster has joined Swansea City F.C on loan and has set games and goals as his target.

The Champions League winner has joined the Swans for the rest of the campaign after he completed a successful medical today.

Brewster has featured 3 times for Liverpool this season including coming on loan in the FA Cup on the weekend. He is also available to make his debut in Sunday’s derby clash with Cardiff City.

Brewster said “I’m very, very excited to be part of this, I couldn’t wait to get here and get started, to be honest.

“I’ve been watching the results and the team closely. It’s a very young team but the quality is second to none. I want to bring something different to the team and help them.

“I’ve come here to try and play a lot of games and score a lot of goals for Swansea.

“It’s a great club. I’ve been watching them for ages – particularly when they were in the Premier League. Hopefully, I can help them get back to where they belong.

“At this moment in time, Swansea is the best team for me to join on loan. I want to help Swansea get promoted.”

Swansea will be hoping that the signing can help them with their promotion push and he will have a friendly face to welcome him into the changing room, with Yan Dhanda a former team-mate of his at Anfield.

“Yan’s a great guy; I’ve known him since I first joined Liverpool when I was 14,” added Brewster.

“He just kept telling me to come to Swansea! We played together at Liverpool and he’s a great player to play with. Hopefully, we can play here together as well.

“Obviously, he moved on a couple of years ago but we’re back together now, so we’ll see what happens.”
