PONTARDAWE ‘HIGHEST COVID RATE IN WALES’

Pontardawe has had 100 positive cases in the last week. Its case rate of 813.7 cases per 100,000 is currently the highest in Wales.

Year Seven pupils were told not to come into school at Cwmtawe Comprehensive today although some classes return tomorrow.

Neath Port Talbot has a current rate of 293.1 cases per 100,000 and is approaching the level of Blaenau Gwent and Merthyr which are seeing their rates decline.
