PLENTY TO LOOK FORWARD TO IN 2020!!
A new decade requires a new challenge.
Jack Swan magazine are producing 6 feature issues in 2020. Each issue will be looking at the changes at Swansea City Football Club in the past sixty years and we will be speaking with ex-players from 1960 right up to modern day to ask their thoughts about each subject.
The 6 changes we are looking at will be with regards to:-
Youth development: changes in how young players are scouted, treated, signed and the competition from rival clubs for signatures.
Global football: How foreign owners, players and oversees interests has changed the club.
Discrimination: Have things improved with sexism, homophobia and racism with Swansea city FC?
Changing fans: Has ticket price increases changed the clubs fanbase from the working classes to a more middle-classed supporter? Kids, women supporters. How things have changed.
Player Power: How football contracts have evolved to enable the players to hold the cards.
As well as our printed magazine, each feature will also be going online at www.southwalesmedia.com and excitingly, into a documentary video which will also be shared online.
