David Morris tributes a sign of a broken and suspicious Wales.

Child killers are not popular. That is an easy statement to make. So, something is clearly up when tributes pour in for a convicted child killer.

David Morris died in prison on Friday 20th August 2021. He had spent the last 22 years behind bars. David (or Dai) was convicted for the Clydach murders. Where three generations of one family were killed. He always maintained his innocence. Something thousands of supporters agree with.

Broken trust.

There is clearly a large percentage of people around Swansea who believe that Dai Morris was innocent. However, it is deeper than that. Many believe that the true killer was within the police service. And the ‘system’ failed and set-up David Morris.

To some, it is an ‘us and them’ belief. A cover-up. An example of the powerful preying on the powerless. It seems a growing belief in everyday life with numerous similar examples.

Social media support for Dai Morris

Facebook, Twitter, Snap Chat etc… have changed the world forever. We all know that. They have made communication instant. A message travels between communities simultaneously. There has been much talk about issues with creating ’fake news’. But less triumphed is its ability to root fake-news out.

In the Gaza strip, camera phones and social media have dramatically altered our understanding of the conflict. Twenty years ago, Israel would release statements that they had ‘killed 30 Hamas terrorists’ one evening. Today, the children within those killed are videoed and shared all over the world.

Essentially, it is far more difficult for the ‘establishment’ to cover-up. Videos, messages, evidence can be shared all over the globe.

The momentum to prove the innocence of David Morris was pushed on with a bestselling book and a TV documentary. However, it was social media which got and kept the message in the public domain. Two facebook groups supporting David Morris has over 30,000 members.

Suspicions add to suspicions

A few miles from Clydach, up the Swansea valley, many parents in Neath Port Talbot feel a similar battle between the powerful and powerless. NPT Council claim they wish to close 3 schools. One school closed overnight. The council leader stating a fear of an ‘Aberfan’ disaster. However official documents and geologists show no such scenario.

Parents state that the figures within the proposals do not add up. Numbers suggest that a mysterious fourth school would close. Leaked documents showing council officers stating that well-used playing fields are ‘not really used’. The powerful that make the decisions ignoring the powerless who feel they are being lied to.

When trust breaks down between those with the power to put people behind bars, close schools and create vaccines then we are in trouble.

It all feels part of a society which is constantly suspicious. There are people who feel that Covid is a hoax. The vaccine is a tracking implant. Large amount of people feel powerless. They feel ignored and that the system is rigged.

For too many people, the David Morris conviction is false. They believe that an innocent man and father has died in prison. There is real anger.

If convictions and decisions cannot be more transparent and supported by public opinion, then we are entering a dangerous time. With social media, it seems that the system will not survive if it continues to ignore the public.

Tributes for David Morris

I must add that David Morris was found guilty by a jury, and I am not implying his guilt or innocence. However it is dangerous to ignore public opinion. In 2021, the courts need to adjust to bring the public with them.

I do recommend scrolling through the hundreds of comments to news articles announcing his death. Remind yourself that this is a convicted child killer. Here are just a few: –

“Watched the BBC documentary a while ago and there seem to be many unanswered questions. I have to say the evidence suggests that he was an innocent man. Hope the real killers will be brought to justice.”

“Hope those who stitched him up can sleep comfortably tonight knowing an innocent man as died in prison RIP Dai”

“Every one knows who the real killers are. I hope the family still fight to clear his name”

“Disrespectful BBC Wales why put murderer in the headlines!!!! So sad. R.I.P. I hope your family get the justice you deserve and clear your name. Karma comes to mind they won’t get away with it if there’s any justice in this God forsaken country.”

Heartbroken that an innocent man has died before he got cleared. The real murderers are still out there and we know who they are. RIP Dai. We will get justice for you

I say this with a great deal of certainty that David Morris was totally innocent of The Clydach Murders he played no part in the Brutal Massacre of a innocent Family.
        And the facts prove that
South Wales Police has interfered with the course of Justice simply because within hours of the Discovery of the Massacre alarm bells were ringing at Morriston police station, of the suspicious activities of the senior Police officer Stuart Lewis how removed himself from the Crime scene at kelvin road within 10 minutes and him being the most senior officer at the scene he should have swung in to operation preserving the crime scene with other officers thats would you would expect from a concerned professional Police inspector. But thats not what
Stuart Lewis did he went to Morriston police station didn’t inform his superiors of his findings or log the incident, what he did do was not to use any of the Police stations twenty or so phones, he chooses to use the public pay phone in the Police stations reception foyer, seen by a colleague pumping coins into the payphone.
And then just casually finishes his shift and goes home.
So it brings into Question how professional and quick minded was
Sir Anthony Burden chief of police when he was informed what had taken place at kelvin road and worryingly the behavior of Inspector Stuart Lewis at Morriston police station.
What lengths did the chief of Police go to to trace the phone call Stuart Lewis made on the payphone at 5 am in the morning.
And this is the start of
South Wales Police’s fiascos from here on in the poor Policing starts in earnest and spirals out of control and another Major Corruption is starting to boil but this case is going to Eclipse the
Lynette White Police Corruption case of 2011 we all remember what happened on that case £30+ Million Police Corruption Crown Court case collapsed because of
D C Coutts of South Wales Police Lied to the Courts that vital evidence had been shredded.
That evidence was found some three months after the Collapsed case not shredded at all but safe in a box in the office of D C Coutts.
Another officer that was assigned to the Clydach Murders Case.

Miscarriages of Justice’s serves no purpose just Destroys innocent people’s life’s and a Total waste of tax payers money.
        RIP
        David George Morris
        Your Death won’t be Vain
        INNOCENT

Dai Morris was convicted twice of The Clydach Murders, so he was in prison for being a murderer, not an innocent man. If those who think he did not slaughter the Power family, it is up to them to prove it, but seem to be unable to get the conviction overturned. While they keep fighting, the other ‘suspects’ are free to live their lives and have done for 20 years. Proving Dai’s innocence is not going to happen and every obstacle will be put in his family’s way. Time to move on.

Unfortunately one of the negative effects of social media is to extrapolate the ‘sheep’ mentality in human beings. Unfortunately a large section of society, when fed one sided data, are either to lazy or have an inability to evaluate all the facts themselves in order to come to their own independent conclusion. Instead they basically become like sheep and will literally follow and believe anything the sheppard is telling them.

i read on this site and several others that Dai Morris was convicted twice at two different trials. The truth is that if Dai Morris had another ten trials with ten different juries who all herd the original prosecution cases then he would have been found guilty another ten times.
If on the other hand the jury heard all of the evidence that was blatantly hidden in both trials plus the new evidence and hear from the witnesses that were not allowed to give evidence then the outcome would without doubt have been a not guilty verdict.
I have met the Cardiff three (previously the Cardiff five) plus both the Darvell brothers, all of who were fitted up and five of the seven had guilty verdicts all of which were overturned on appeal.

Without doubt South Wales Police from the bottom of the pile to the ivory towers head quarters personnel all have plenty of questions to answer. Dai Morris was without doubt an innocent party that carried the can on the say so of police officers who failed to carry out their duty in the proper and trusted manner expected from the people whole swore an oath to uphold the law…. I also read that one person said that its time to move on? I for one will not be moving on until justice is given to Dai Morris, and when the killer or killers are behind bars
