2020 is an exciting year for South Wales Media as we bring you a range of different video projects.

Jack Swan will be bringing 6 exciting themes looking at the change in Swansea City Football Club. These videos will be released alongside a featured Jack Swan magazine throughout the year. The 6 are:-

Scrap-heap at 20
The Academy, scouting, expectations, early-releases, we look at how youth football has changed at Swansea City over the last 50 years.

How has the club changed and the players involved with their attitudes to Homophobia, Racism and Sexism. We will speak with Ex-players from different eras to see how the attitudes within the dressing room and fan-base has changed.

We will look at how the fans have changed over the last 50 years. Speaking to ex-players, board members and fans to understand what trends, traditions and price-changes have had to who watches the club.

How has success and money changed Swansea City Football Club. Are players bigger than the club or has that always been the case? We will speak with ex-players from different decades to see how player-power has transformed the club.

Global Football
The Spanish insurgent, the American owners, how has global football transformed the identity of Swansea City FC?


We will be looking at how the local area has changed in the last decade. Initially we will be focussing on Clydach, Gorseinon, Morriston and Pontardawe.

The Local Boozer
Over the course of the year, we will be looking at some of our favourite pubs in the locality. Speaking to current and ex-landlords and landladies, regular drinkers and look into the history into these buildings which are at the centre of our communities.
